CAA4SC Amendments of Basketball Rules
*Game balls must be made by Under Armour and have official NFHS stamp.
*Visual clothing that is not considered apart of the school’s uniform can only be one of the school colors. So if the undershirt is one of the uniform colors then it is consider legal. If the player has a black or white undershirt it too is considered legal.
*In the event that a player has a piercing or bracelet it can be covered with tape or a bandage.
*Players occupying marked free-throw lane line spaces may not enter the free-throw semicircle until the ball touches the ring or until the free throw ends. Play resumes once the ball is released from the shooter’s hand.
*A running clock starts once a team is leading by 40 points at any point in the game. If the team that is behind cuts the lead to 30 points then the clock goes back to the normal operational clock. If it gets to a 40 point lead for the second time then it is a continuous running clock. The clock will only stop during time outs by either team or officials. The game can be terminated if both coaches agree on it.
* If a technical foul is given to a coach then that coach is allowed to remain standing. The coach does not have to sit. On the second technical foul on the coach he is then ejected.
